I am going pretty quickly. I got the conceal shot. Then went up the sniper tree and now am going up the countersnipe tree. I did this because the sniper tree has the accuracy. Novice rifleman cant hit crap! Once you get abilities 2, just use a t-21, it is best for most stuff. Oh yeah endor is a great place to get ep. Just take the missions, it doesnt really matter what. They are all going to give you 3.5 - 5k ep a kill. I would just stay away from venum filled arachnid cause they poison and it just slows your progress waiting for the poison to subside.

For me I got concealment I first for the concealshot, it will be your best friend. Then I went up sniping, countersniping, and concealment in that order. And of course abilities at the same time.
Good places to go for XP, Jinda cave on endor or the droid cave at the volcano on Lok, bring conceal shot, some muon or brandy and conceal shot away!
I don't do much PvP so I pretty much use my t21 (which is about average) and my DXR-6. If it wasn't for the fast decay of the disruptor I would pretty much use it always.
Once you reach master it really doesn't matter what gun you use.
People that complain about the disruptor dealing acid damage confuse me. Most things have good resists to acid, not all mind you but most. And for things like the nighsisters that are 100% to acid, you shouldn't be able to solo anything and everything in the whole game. It is nice to be able to solo most things though.

get a good sliced laser rifle...
head to lok and do perlek missions (uber easy to kill, around 20-25 per lair, 1k xp per (more if grouped with pet)
Go up counter-snipe 3 line.
Then get a disrupter rifle, go to dantooine, and use the area attack you get on the lair. (Qunkers are vulnerable to acid)
Then go up the sniping line, go up concealment line, and finish the counter-ssnipe line last.
PvP wise, get a good jawa ion rifle once you hit master and be ready to OWN.

oh and set your mind to as high as it will go and ALWAYS get buffed. It helps to have a tank too.

Personally I went Conceal first as the conceal shot makes it much easy to solo stuff. I also went straight onto quenkers.

Everyone said to get conceal shot, so I got that, but Ihardly ever used it. I say don't bother with it.
Get doc buffs, high (70%+) kinetic armor (ubese is fine), brandy, etc, the basics of every combat class pretty much. After you have all that head for Dantooine and do savage quenker missions until you get an AE attack.
AE is the best exp. Get to counter-sniping 3 for flushing 2 asap.
Now what you need is a good pet to tank for you. You want to find a bio engineer to make a pet that you can use (without needing any CH skills, yet still strong enough to tank for you). These might not be available in the future (bio eng pets are constantly being nerfed it seems), but right now it shouldn't be a problem to get ahold of one. The one I have now is CL 10, 10048/5740/3173, 59% kinetic/44% blast (vuln rest), 120-130 dmg, 2.1 attack spd, sp1 crippling strike, sp2 intimidation. I've heard people have better, but this one does the trick nicely and it only cost me 20k. It'll get nerfed eventually, but it should last long enough to hit master, which isn't long. The recipe for mine was 1st gen: greater sludge panther, greater sludge panther, kima, savage gufdrolg, kima, max physique/psychology, and 2nd gen: Merek harvester, merek harvester, 3x 1st gen, max physique/psychology again. Just give a BE that if he doesn't have something better. It might take a day or two for him to get the stuff, and it'll take a few days for the pet to reach maturity (you can use him before then, he should be plenty strong after 2-3 days, it takes 5 or so to grow fully).
Once you have the pet, take piket missions or more savage quenkers. Send the pet on the lair, wait for everything to aggro the pet, then target the lair and FS2 away. It helps to get doc buffs for the pets to help with regen, or use petstims.
