Thread: What is the best rifle in the game?
Get a better t21. Go kill some krayts, until you get some tissues. Get a nice T21 made. There are some Laser rifles around 360 base dps with 1100 damage ive seen. With a +17 accuracy mod, it helps if you are using the cyber arms.

You are telling us the T-21 is the best rifle in the game. How does it compare to the TOSH Hunting Rifle and other quest rifles?

for sure the T21 stay the best rifle in game.I have a converted Advanced Laser that is by no means outstanding but is certainly better than the avg laser listed on the bazaar. The nice thing about it is the +17 accuracy, 14.95%wound dmg and the 96 SAC. Base DPS is only like 298 (will have to check that but I know its under 300) but with some very nice PUPS and +Rifle Speed Seas I currently have my modified DPS up to 507. Would be higher if I didn't have to give up my +8 Rifle speed modified bracers/biceps armor to make room for the 2 ranged cyberarms. I hope to find a better rifle one day but for now the 34k I spent for this one post CU seems well worth the investment.

He is right..
I have a +17 acc laser rifle 580-1099, 1.83 spd SAC 84
Dunno the dps offhand cause I never use it.
all depends on the tissues.. the cap seeme to be about 1100 tho.. Those guys up there must be talking about PU'd weapons...
Grind wise I have a nice Assault Bow Caster I use
For the heavy hitting I havea Krayt T21
From what I have seen the bowcasters as a class are by far the best rifle option. Someone was showing lots of love for the Wookies!
All the looted rifles are nice but they can't compare to a nice crafted krayt rifle.
I prefer the Advanced Laser Rifle for the Accuracy mods you can get on it. Plus when doing a lot of firing the T21 is too loud...the Adv Laser Rifle is a better sounding weapon. Plus it does not look as ridiculous as the T21 (try carrying that rifle around all day!!).
Krayt tissue= uber rifle. You need Krayt tissue in the +150 damage range to let your 12pt weaponsmith cap out the weapon on damage and have some pts left over to keep the SAC costs down or what not. Get some krayt tissue in the +175 range and now your really talking a nice rifle.
My best Advanced Laser Rifle is 703 min - 1,307 max. That is with a +32.66% damage pup.

Wow...nice stats on those guns Kregi. I just assumed mine was a Pre-Cu conversion cause I bought it like on day 2 of the CU. I respeced to Master Rifles and this was the first gun I bought. Happy enough with it to ADK it for now but am always interested in finding better 
Does a Bowcaster Rifle also provide an Accuracy Bonus and Wound Damage stats? What is your modified Attack Speed? That modified DPS sounds great but I'm wondering about the rest. Does it use Energy or Kinetic? I'm using a new 34% dmg 11.45% speed PUP btw. And I actually mis-quoted my stats in the previous post due to poor memory. My base speed is 2.58 down to 1.86 modified. Max dmg without the Pup is 1028 and 1200 with current Pup. With my 2 cyber ranged armsI'm hitting for over 3k dmg on a CL55 mobusing Sniper shot at 80m.
One of these days I will probably pay the big bucks for a really UBER rifle...but again for 34k the one Im using is good for now. Any weaponsmiths on Starsider with really NICE rifle stats please send me a tell or email in game. You just might get me toopen up the purse strings

Hmm so I take it from that comment that the Bowcaster is for Wookies Race only? Oh well
Iwas gonna try to link to some screenshots of my rifle without and with PUP to view the base stats. Unfortunately the crazy HTML editor won't accept my links and keeps wiping them out. Hope they fix that soon.
