Thread: Accuracy Modifier
Does the accuracy modifier that appears to the left of a targets HAM bar top out at -50 for a penilty?
If so is this just because it does, even if your actualy penalty to hit is much higher. Or does it mean that the max penilty to hit you can have is -50?
If it is the 1st case then I think all range (if not all combat) classes should add this to their issue list. This number should display the range/movement penilty to hit you have accuratly, especially since at 64m range all of the weapons I have seen are supposed to be atleast -50 to hit when you and your target are standing still..
If on the other hand the max range/movement penilty is -50 then there's a big issue to be had and would surly explain some of the issues put forth here about pistol users being able to hit quite acuratly while at 64m (moving or not).
Another thing is the dramatic drop off of accuracy modifier on some rifles, my laser rifle goes from a bonus of +20 at 60m to a penilty of -50 at 64m. I personally don;t think that just a 4m difference should result in such high a penilty.
Any insites into any of this?
