Just read Tekdragon's thread.According to our correspondent, to compete in PvP, we need to be amaster and to group. In Tek's example , a 1 vs 1 exchange, he got off the first THREE shots, and still lost. At Master vs Master,how would that battle have gone? Would Tek have won? Or would that knockdown have come after the first shot, instead off number 3? Will our skills a the Master Level at least equal theirs?As for the "just get a group" response, seems like the knockdown player had no need for one, heck from that battle, two riflemen would not have cut it. At Master, could Tek have overcome two seperate knockdown players? Really seemslike, if you want to PvP, better get that rapid firing, knock you on your ass, accurate at any range, shot on the run, PISTOL. Or group, three rifles should be enough, don't you think?

He's using the wrong skill, and fires too slow. Three shots from his gun would take nearly twelve seconds if i have his skills remembered right. Three headshot3's from his gun would take 15 or 18 seconds.

Thus, he's lying really, an opponent with any speed increasing skillsat allfor his pistol should have had at least 6 shots, and probably closer to twenty.

Bug or not, at master we get to fire that fast too, that's the difference.

At lower levels, its ruff for a Rifleman In PvP, but it pays off at Master. You get both the speed and the damage. Lower levels if you want to compete you need more then one rifleman with you, to counter your slow speed.

Tek also said he got owned because of knockdown and if you read some of his other posts he says he doesnt have any skills in the 3rd branch which gives him defense verse knockdown. I personally don't have CS 3 yet so I dont know how much it helps but i think once you have it you should do fairly well in PVP....verse knockdown and posture changes anyhow.

We don't get ANY defense vs knockdown. None.

To the original poster: If I had been a master rifleman i would have used my uber l33t flamethrower attack and knocked off 50-75% off a random HAM pool. Then he would turn around and hit me with a knockdown. Fight over.

As to defence vs knockdown.. dont be stupid. We get a defence vs posture change UP. Isnt that just retarded as hell? It ranks right up there with our useless +20 blocks, our usless +20 melee defence, our useless +100 concealment, and our **edit**ty conceal shot.

Ive seen Aldeon's comments on PvP. Apparently on his server the only PvP opponents he faces are novice artisans. On my server everyone and their cousin has a knockdown attack. We seriously have 1/3 to 1/2 the population running around with bounty hunter titles.
