Thread: Ok; Wookie Rifleman/Swordsman Stats (multi Post)

Hi all my Rifleman buddies;


I'm a wookie (fur ball, walking carpet, or moss mat), I've been working on my stats and thouhgt I would share my ideas for some input or advice if there any good! I've cross posted this on the Swordsman forum as well, as that my focuse is equal between them.


As a wookie our big power is stats, we have a tone of them, we can play around and do a lot of things with them. I have two set ups I'll share, first is how I've been sitting for a while now;


Health 1200
Action 1200
Mind 900


To get those I had to pritty much go to minimum on all the other stats, Str, Con, Will ect (Don't rember what those were, sorry). I found that even then as a wookie my HAM costs were pritty good, Str was at 650 even at Min. But I also found my regen time to be kinda long and I was still over balanced away from Mind pool.


So last night I migrated to this:


Health 1000
Action 1000
Mind 1000


I boosted the Regen skills to 475 for Quickness (Action) and Willposer (Mind), Con (Health) I set at 500.



Input? How dose that stack up to other regen rates anbd raw stats for other races?

I've been looking at this exact same combo (Wookie Rifle/Sword). Rifleman sounds cool, but I already have a human char and Zabrak seems a little too similar.

The max possible in each stat for Wookies vs Zabrak:

Health Str Con Action Qui Sta Mind Foc Will
Wookie 1350 850 550 1200 550 500 1100 650 600
Zabrak 1200 500 400 1300 450 400 1000 500 900

(Note that these are individual maxes; you couldn't have all of them.)

The large point pool of Wookies is appealing. One question is wheter the higher caps for Mind and Focus would compensate for the awesome potetial Willpower of Zabraks. Total pool and cost modifier vs pool regen. The other question is whether Wookies having more leftover points to beef up Health, etc. would make up for lack of armor and whatever Zabrak advantage that might spring from question one.

So the query to experienced Rifleman is: how important is Mind pool regen compared to total Mind pool and Mind cost factor.
