Thread: supression fire works... what the ..
I'm having a ton of fun with it .
My favourite new pastime is making the NPC's wiggle in a complet circle , I'll tell ya how I do it . It's great fun .
First I open up with my MS I and MSII 's . Then I give em the oleFlurry Shot I , which I make sure connects and dizzies before I continue . Then I switch to my pistola and give em the ole Supression Fire , but I might leave this out because they seem to flop on their backs of their own doing before I get the Sp.Fire out of the pistol .
Then I run up to them and I spam the Eye Shots , then I type in something funny like " oh stay down it hurts less " or " WIGGLE " and I walk around them in a circle . They will revolve around in a circle while on their backs .
WEEEEEE what fun . Then they die and I loot .
Lotsa fun . I have noticed something disturbing tho . Sometimes the Flurry Shot will hit and the NPC will display the Dizzy Icon on his status bar , but he will be able to change postures at will without falling down . At these times I attempt a supression fire but it does not seem to do anything .
So either they have some resistance to the Dizzy , and it only has a CHANCE of making them fall if they change postures .... or it's bugged . I was assuming that a chance to resist DIzzy would come before the shot connects . This would explain the shots I get off that connect but don't " catch " and the dizzy icon doesn't display on the NPC's status bar .
If the shot connects , and the dizzy is displayed on the status bar , then any posture change should ALWAYS make the target flop . This is not the case .
Bugged ? Needs fixing ? Who knows .....
