Hello fellow riflemens, Iwas on this website : www.swgcenter.com, and found an interesting page about raw data on all special moves in the game : http://www.swgcenter.com/info/SpecialMoves.asp

To sum up :

Accuracy modifier on SPECIAL MOVES by profession :

Pistoleer : +50

Carbineer : +25

Rifleman : +5

TKA : + 15

Swordsman : +10

Fencer : +25

Polearm : +10

Now this is interesting. I'm not sure all this infos is 100% accurate and maybe need to be actually tested in game but it just seem to explain LOTS of things for me, expecially that Rifle Vs pistol accuracy..

Yes , believe of not, rifles are the least accuracy weapon in the game, and I was wondering how this pistol guy was sniping me at 64m with bodyshot while moving with perfect accuracy.

Pistol accuracy modifier is 10 (TEN) times superior compared to the rifle one.. huh.. and I'm trying to think , I dont see any reason justifying this.

Thanks for reading,

Maybe the Devs did a holo and did a typo and added a 0?

Come to think of it, you're absolutely right. While they have it somewhat right that being in close with a rifle should have a to hit penalty, it almost seems the pistols have a bonus the farther out they get.
