Thread: Deciding what skills to learn with what I have left!!!
tired of being nerfed? go pistoleer they never get nerfed, rifleman gets nerfed all the time
If you are considering rifleman, master musician and master marksman are really great complementarys because you can buff your mind and get the master marksman riflebonuses that other rifleman might not get. Not only that, but you'll at least have a prayer if something gets within your range (you can just whip out your FWG5)

Hate to say it, pistoleer moves suck bug time. The only decent move is fan shot. All it does also is a lot of damage to a random HAM pool. I have Pistoleer/Rifleman and both are equally good IMO. It depends what you are doing.
For dueling, sure pistoleer is a lot better. For PvE I use my rifle almost all the time.
Nerfing things just breaks the classes even more, they should maybe make some classes work instead.
I was once a carbineer, but that profession is so nerfed I think the actual nerfs would say thats nerfed up. But anyways I am now looking forward to becoming a rifleman, why, bc the specials don't use that much and it attacks the mind which everyone has a lower ham for, most people. With the skill points I have remaining, which aint much, what skills should I learn with only 27 points left after I learn novice rifleman? I think what I wanted was 2202, i think thats what I thought would be a good decision. The first 2 skills of all the trees except that block thing. Anyways, are these good choices with skill points I have left?
I am a Master Marksman, Master Scout (soon to be), Master Creature Handler (in the distant future)
Rifle specials have HUGE mind costs. Don't kid yourself.
Your best bes it 3/0/3/X the whole concealment line is useless right now.
on x/x/3/x you get your best attack, plus your best defensive bonuses.
