Ok was out hunting Sharnaffs last night. And after each fight i had to rest for the full mindpool. Takes some time, and ontop of that i had to rest more from healing my pet.

So i ask you what should i use to buff my mind regen rate? And how should i manage my stats.

Well on my 2nd account thats a rifle man (name is Bluesy) I dumped all my action pool and pumped into mind. Kept my health as maxed as i could.

I'm a Zabrak on Flurry and use headshot 2 all the time. Before I migrated everything to mind I could take out 1 Night Sister. Now, I can take down2-3 and still have mind left. Maxing out Mental isn't enough. You need to max out the secondaries also. That will increase your regen time and lower your Mental usage....

At least that's what someone told me and it's working so far.

As a dosh Master marksman/master tka, those secondary stats under mind are more important then you will ever know if you dont max them out.

1. Become a zabrek. The 900 willpower has an amazing refresh rate

2. Pump your focus using the health and action secondary stats.

3. Buy powerups by the crate. I am very happy with some 32%mind, 16% speed for my laser rifle.

The only real dowside is that your health/action secondary stats are such that you'll hardlybe regenerating them at all. You need to raise your combat medic skills enough to heal yourself (or group with a good medic). On the other hand, I can mindshot2 almost indefinately.

There is no change that SOE could make that would not cause people to protest. Whether they are nerfing the overpowered or giving love to the under developed, whether the change is small, or far reaching, someone somewhere will complain, protest, call it a 'slap in the face' and start a petition.

The only Riflemen that have a chance, really, are Mon Calamari and Zabrak.

As a Zabrack, I set my skills up as such:

HEALTH: 800/300/400
ACTION: 800/300/400
MIND: 1000/500/900

The Mind stats are all maxed, and I find that 800 points in Health and Action are reasonable. I don't have that heavy a cost in them, so I keep the "HAM cost" stat at the minimum. However, I find that the 100 points added to each regen is WAY more useful than an additional 100 points in the actual pools. I mean, if something is going to hit me for 800 Health or Action, odds are I am dead and an additional 100 in one of those pools isn't going to help. However, the VAST increase in the regens that those 100 points provide can keep my alive in a battle and decrease downtime between battles (since I am too busy regenning mind to use many stims).
