Rifleman Archive

My character is currently on Scylla and i was wondering if Rifleman is really worth the time. I was going to bcome one, but it seems there are many advantages and disadvanteges to being Rifleman. Could I get some feedback on the profession, the easiest xp methods, the best gun, etc. If any1 responds, thx dude (or dudette).

Rifleman can be worth it, but is one of the most complicated styles with built in disadvantages so how you spend the rest of your skill points can make a big deal on how easy riflemen is. The riflemen Creature Handlers have it easiest, and the rifleman Melee and Riflemen/DoctorCMs also do well. Its just hard to take rifle straight on without other serious skills.

What rifles are great depends on the resources available on your server. Laser rifles are easy to find with very high damage, and medium AP. Later on your special attacks are more cost effective when used with faster Low ham rifles.

As for xp method, there are a few ways to grind huge creatures for thousands of xp. Bleeding attacksand warning shots can yoyo a creature without it ever getting close to you, and conceal shot can kill without a creature even seeing you. Read the tips for rifleman thread.
