We all know that the best shot we had(startle shot) no longer is viable.
i am a ranger master rifles and as such have limited specials.
would be nice if we could get something similar to strafe shot back.
i love being a ranger and dont want to change to get specials from pistols/caarbineer.
we are after all master rifles and should be able to do damage on our own skills.
What does everyone think?

startle shot is still a viable weapon for rifleman, it has the same dmg calc as torso (or body) shot, you wont be able to exploit it anymore and keep a target completed KDed, but uoi can get few extra shots a KDed mob with a decent speed in your build, comebien that with a root and snare and you are in business

As a Master Ranger and Master Rifle there isn't anything to combine. You just have the Rifleman specials and thats it.

Uhhh... Can we really blame the devs for nerfing the 96% unstoppable "default attack = startle" mess? That "tactic" represented an absolute lack of fun for the person on the recieving end, and unless you're a psychopath, the person on the delivering end also. I think we could use another good no-restrictions damage shot, or have the damage on headshot amped up, but I think that putting the daze portion of startle on a timer is a definite fix rather than nerf.
