Yes rifles can dizzy (nice AOE dizzy), however in my experience, I seem to have trouble making dizzy stick to the more advance mobs such as nightsisters. I can solo them easy enough at master (though becareful on the ones that have 100% energy resist when using a energy based weapon, ie laser rifle, t-21).

I use conceal shot to solo these girls, at master, conceal shot is fantastically fast and I very rarely miss. You will want some sort of mind buff (in particular your "focus" which reduces the amount of mind useof specials such as conceal shot. The trade off at master is that you shoot fast, but you loose mind even faster)

In regards to TKA or Rifles? take both if you can for its defenses, but if you had to choose, personally I would choose Rifles as having played TKA, I got so frustrated with having to chase everything down to kill it. Both do awesome damage.

I like TKM for PVE and Rifle for PVP. If you were to just pick one though I think TKM is better all by itself. You can self buff with Power Boost (boosts all bars +50% of your max mind), heal your wounds and deal with poison without a doctor. You never miss is something is in range and you can hit mind too.



There are drawbacks though.
You will only ever be able to do kinetic dmg so you will never solo a nightsister elder .

You only have 1 weapon.

TKM by itself might not be that defensive. I was master rifle first and have always had the stacked D so I don't know how I compare to a straight up TKM.

TKM isn't as good at PVP, at least not for me. My computer is pretty slow and other melee characters knock me down from 40m on my screen and I'm half dead before they are even in range for me to hit. But if you own a fast system and a good connection I think TKM will do just fine in PVP, it works for a lot of other people out there.

Yes it does work, but with strafeshot 2, its not worth the time to try and kd someone rushing you.
