I know alot of people stack pistoleer/fencer, carbineer/2h, and rifleman/pikeman (not so common) which boost block, dodge and counterattack. Now these type of stackers would get effected. However, unless it's just not mentioned, it doesnt say anything about range or melee defenses at all. So if my assumption is right every rifleman/tkm or any other combo that stacks a lot of range and melee defenses shouldnt be effected. If there any one on the test center that is a rifleman/tkm that can verify this?

My understanding of the Patch notes from the devs was that "All Defensive" mods where getting capped... but hey time will tell.....

So even though the patch notes don't mention it, 125 is the cap for ranged/melee defense too?

nope in the test center and notes nothing is mentioned about melee defense caps or ranged caps. and the cap is gonna be high enough that it wont effect people so bad,
