Klaw,
These supposed "rumors" about our upcoming nerfs are very disturbing. Do you realize that IF they come to pass that everyone here will be extremely disappointed with YOU! There is an ominous feeling about the seemingly lack of support you are providing us. People seem to think that you aren't fighting as hard as you should be to quell these rumors and provide solid evidence that they are indeed only rumors. I'm pretty sure that I won't be the only one that feels this way, but IF any of this stuff does happen to us, I for one will petition for a new correspondent.
You need to make it very clear to the devs that we aren't "leet" or "uber" or even overpowered. We are simply WORKING! There are even some items that aren't working correctly, like using AoE's in dungeouns/bases, but we are working for the most part while other professions are badly broken. We don't deserve for any of those "rumors" to be forced on us! I'd hope you make a stand and fight for us, not let this go passively!

If these rumors weren't true I think this klaw guy would've said so a long time ago. This is his indirect way of letting us know it's true. I'm not gonna slam the guy cause I don't really know how much he's stuck up for rifleman and i'm certainly not gonna take anyone else's word for it.

I don't want to slam the guy either........this is meant to be a motivational pep talk. But those "rumors" will ruin the game for me, and everyone else I'd think. We can't sit idelyby and let them pull our wings off and watch us squirm.

Correspondents aren't told much, and when they are told something they're usually not allowed to tell anyone else unless the devs say it's ok. I bet they haven't even released any details about publish 8, seeing how 7 just went on TC last week.

I have addressed these rumors time and time again on the forum. There is no nerf planned nor has any official statement regarding a nerf, a speed cap, etc ever been given to me or the community. The only official statement ever made was "all combatprofessions" will be involved in the combat balance. There is no information regarding this.
We must be pateint and not look to niegh sayers and rumors.

Thank u klaw. I'm glad you're doing damage control. The people starting rumors on this board are destroying the rifleman community.

You'd let a RUMOR ruin the game for you? An unsubstantiated, unverified, unacconted for piece of information RUIN the game for you?
Have you read any post on ANY forum on this board from anyone in any position on authority (Devs, correspondants, etc...) say that they were going to impose any sort of limits on our class?
Let's stop this silliness and enjoy the game. Rifleman is a great class and we should be enjoying it. There is very little that needs to be fixed with the rifleman prof and, as a Rifleman / DE, I can really appreciate a class that works and a class that doesn't
EVERY mention on this board of a nerf for rifleman is always accompanied by the phrase "I heard that...". Any changes that get made, won't be rumors floating around. You'll read it for real. And to the guy who posted the "Klaw hasn't posted anything so it must be true" crap, knock that crap off. It's a cheap shot at Klaw, completetly baseless and designed to provoke a negative response. Grow up.

Thank you Klaw, I appreciate this. Last night I heard the rumor about the three second speed cap (four second on strafe 2) and I thought it was ridiculous that we would be subject to this...but if no nerf is planned, then now I can stop wetting my pants
