Thread: If you plan on Damage slicing your Weapon...

If you are having a custom weapon made and you plan on having it sliced for damage then you may want to consider the following. The damage cap on T21's and ALR's is 1184 as we all know so you ideally want to have your WS get the damage on your crafted weapon no higher than 1096 because with an 8% dmg slice you are at the cap (and you can't currently slice past the cap). Better to spend those extra points into SAC and Speed. The nice thing about this is you will raise your minimum damage from the slice as well.
I'm assuming the cap is the same for the new trando rifle but have yet to be able to experiement around with that. I'll post the stats of the one I had made following this method when I pick it up.

But the slicing cap is not always the same as the craft cap. Not sure if this is the case on a T21 or not. But I found it's better to max out dmg in crafting, then SAC, and forget about speed. The 12% speed slice is very nice.

I had a trando rifle made and after damage slice i think is past that? im not sure right now im at work
