When used against an enemy overt player or enemy NPC by a rifleman who has successfully used /takecover, concealshot provides the rifleman a 50% chance of not gaining a temporary enemy flag.

I think adding something like this into the game would really open up some new strategies for PvP and enhance the idea of the rifleman as a 'sniper'.

50% Seems like a good chance to me, not too high as to be broken, but low enough to be useful. Forcing the rifler to be under cover is a balance so it can't be spammed on the run.

Imagine... a lone overt Imperial standing in the middle of coronet... suddenly a horde of rebels descends upon him guns blazing, when from nowhere blaster fire rings out from the crowd. The rebels are distracted, they can't see where its coming from... then one of them catches the tell-tale muzzle flash of a rifle steadied on a bipod off in the distance.. the Rebel raises his weapon to fire and....

you never know what you may see in the future :-) - but I also think you should not be able to shoot at another player unless you are overt and they are as well or at least TEF'd. . no more GTEF, no more zerging ^_^

Would be a nice idea, but I doubt it'll ever happen. That would give use Riflemen too much power... ::eyeroll::

I'd love something like that. The Devs originally designed us to be snipers, so it would make sense. Somewhere along the line, things went horribly wrong and we're now more like a machine-gunner or standard infantry. Oh well..the future is wide open now, so maybe something like that will happen...you never know

what's wrong with being a machine gunner? I like destroying an entire squad of stormies in 5 secs. now if I could only do that with jebi
