Thread: Rifleman/doctor has very bad defence

Can someone help me out please, i'm master rifleman and master doctor, have 18 skills points left, is there any way I can get my defences up ? Everytime I go NS hunting and get attacked by 3 rangers or whatever they kill me in seconds, I get stuned, dizzied, knockdowned, there is nothing I can do even with master doctor...thanks

Even 1 or 2 rangers or sentinals can kill me...now that is bad...only if they get 25m within range of me

No defences will help you, first take novice brawler tbh so you can intimidate. But riflemen are not designed to tank. What you can do though is take thakitillo so you dont get KD's and can fight on. then just pull the sisters 1 at a time and kill them.

you could get some Force Sensitive defense bonus to melee and ranged defese.. but thats about it.

not worth it, the accuracy bonus mele vs ranged makes any mele def especially small amounts worthless. trust me.

You have some choices:
1) Get a meleer to tank for you.
2) Drop doctor and pick up some TKA.
3) Concealshot for teh w1n!

Hunting NS or anything high level alone is stupid. You waste a lot of time healing and missing, and it is far too risky. Hunting in groups of 2-3 yeilds a lot more loot (you're killing things a lot faster, and can take on high level things) and is far less dangerous. On top of this you are a doc, so you can basically get a melee friend to tank and heal any states/bleeds you encounter(those are the big problem with NS-the bleeds)
