Has the beserker rifle ever worked? Would be interested to know what damage type and quality a rifle could reach?

Yes, there were quit a few of them crafted actually. But then around patch 9 I think, the devs nerfed the ability to craft with non-serial numbered components.

I have a working one that is max damage 447 (sliced,no power-up). Like Waste said, they aren't worth it. I haven't even carried mine in weeks, much less actually used it. That AP0 makes it pretty worthless.

It's more a "show and tell" rifle. Not very impressive. The T-21 is a much better rifle.

It's an AP0 Heat weapon. Not all that impressive. Most seem to like it for its looks more than its usefulness. And for bragging rights.
