Thread: lack of cool rifles

Ok so im pretty new to the game. and im starting to pay attention to things now. what i have come to learn is there isnt really too many rifles out there for riflemen. i really wanted a proton rifle and i find one and its for M commando only 
. there is a few other rifles like the dark stinger (sp) i think is for M marksmen. this really bites.

Well there are six main rifles for high-end Riflemen - the T21 and Advanced Laser Rifle are both common, the Trandoshan Hunting Rifle (quest reward) is a very good all-round rifle, the Trandoshan Hunter's Rifle Mark-1B is craftable, but generally very expensive to buy, and the LD-1 and Fallan Hyper Rifle (both quest rewards) are the best kinetic damage rifles available.

thx for the info. heres some more questions. JOY! 
so the fallan is a fett quest reward right?
what about the ld-1 i never heard of this where does this quest start?
trandoshan hunting is from the hunting grounds quest right?
the craftable trandoshan. i heard about schemattics for this. where can you get them? who drops as loot?

The LD-1 I believe is a quest reward for quests in the Klowir (sp) forest in Kaashik
The Trandoshan hunting rifle is quest reward for doing quests for the Trandoshan slavers on Kaashik
You can probably find more info on these doing a search on the Quests and Missions forum.

ld-1 is a quest reward for the outcasts in the webweaver caverns.

ya..mine got bugged a while ago..did the fix it yet?..or at least let me redo the quest
when i go to the arena and talk to him, he disappears and doesnt come back

I personally like the dc-15 rifle. Its the really big clone rifle that u get from a fett mission. Its my personal favorite weapon and I dont evenhave it yet lol. U only have to be lvl 54 to use it and its pretty strong.
