Thread: Rifleman Urban Sniping Duel
- Each team starts in different areas of the city already dueled with one another. Ranges for this could vary, 300-500m sounds reasonable to me.
- One scored hit counts as a kill. This means you hit the commander or an enemy sniper once and they're dead. Dead people may choose to just sit where they are and observe or leave the play area.
- Snipers may only fire while prone. Dive shot does not count, nor does kip up.
That's about it. I think I could see some interesting strategies with this. If anyone has any rule change reccomendations or tries this out,let me know here.
...more fun than a combat medic water balloon toss competition.

Here's an idea for a game for riflemen, maybe a way to really feel like a sniper and use those concealment skills.
This could be played with small teams or just a 1v1 duel. Personally I think 2, maybe 3 person sniper teams might be the most fun.
The object:
Kill the commander: Each team has a non moving/non cloaking/non attacking/non doing anything commander. This could just be a pet or bored third party member. The team to first kill this commander wins the duel.
The rules:

I'm fairly certain you can be in a duel with multiple people. The way I believe it works, is you're simply mutually attackable by anybody you're in a duel with. Each side is going to see 3 (or however many on the other team) red dots on their radar.
As for the duel range. I meant that all the players got together and hit duel, then ran to their start positions. I'm not sure if it's what you meant, but I didn't think there was a max range tostaying in aduel. At least I think I've been able to get up to around 200m away and still stay in the duel.

Cool, I didn't know that about multiple people in /duel. Yea but 200m and '300-500m' is a big diff. I might be wrong, wouldn't be the first time, but I swear i've seen a message saying I was about to lose the duel due to being to far away. /shrugs
