Hey all, i would like a really good template to go with Mrifles, i would like to get into the PvP/PvE and the whole Imp vs. Reb thingy (base raiding, special forces)!
But most of all... i want to be "Strong like Oxe"!
Anybody have any ideas??

haha wow, I noticed he posted this on the carbineer and pistol boards too, with the weapon changed. Exact same response on every board, MBH CM4000.

Some other options... Get the max general ranged acc to start one shotting with sniper shot!
Master rifles
Master rifles, master marks, pistols 0400, carbs 0400, commando 0400, smuggler 0003, CP 3000 = 314 general ranged acc
Master rifles and CM 4000
Master rifles, master marks, pistols 0400, carbs 0400, CP 4000, CM 4000 = 247 general ranged acc (and 17 skill points free)

my personal favourite is M.Rfiles, MCM, Carbs x33x FS Combat 44xx
i was MBH, M.rifles, CM 4xxx for a long while, but it lacks any good rooting/snare shot. you have to tank face to face with anything you fight, ina pure battle of minds/heals. i found this a little boring, and not nessesarily the best for supporting a PVP group fight.
my - M.Rfiles, MCM, Carbs x33x FS Combat 44xx - gives headshot/leg shot instead of head/critical....leg shot is the same damage multiple as critical but is 1 sec faster on the cooldown - more than making up for the occasional +critical+ bonus. i still have a KD shot (and a few bonus snares from carbines too). my speed adn accuracy took a little bit of a knock but deprechiating returns in weapon speed means 150 speed isn't much slower that 180. and when attacking jedi (my regular PVP opponent) the lack of duelist stance isn't missed much as the defence/accuracy comparison isn't too helpful as sabers have sucha small damage range. so in pure damage output/input with rifles i'm similar to the BH templates, especially with a little food/buffs too.
i can then have fun with DOTs that hit for over 600 dam every 10 sec (between the 2) and last fora while (even if they only last for 2 min just one application of a DOT would do 3600 dam through armor - beats sniper shot) and the use of thyroid rupture to slow PVE to 1 hit in 5 sec and a real whack to PVP. i stand around in the middleof the group in PVP stating everyone up, only takesa min and i'm doing 600 dam every 10 sec to a whole group in pvp. and paralyze - despite it breaking with damage is cool to take one opposition a time - or break jedi AI.
in summary - i find i domore damage than any BH/rifleman - dots are great, i get hit alittle harder but less frequently, and melee guys can't keep up with electrolyte snare on. i can heal even better than CM 4xxx and even res. also i can wear battle armor - often more usefull than recon or assualt - who knows who will be hitting you with what!

Some good points. I'm Master Rifle/Master Combat Medic. I have scount 3xxx and medic xx2x. Do you find that you don't need/miss the ranged support healing line or the terrain negotiation?

If you have CM 4000, I am not sure how much medic xx2x will make a difference, not much I guess... Also you can get terrain negotiation clothing to help with the lack of scout...

Jeez, I went MBH along with MRifle and Pistols 0404.
I've got 305 accuracy before foods, and typically use my powers for looting the BH marks and big game hunting (Krayts, Goraz, MDKs, etc.).
Not too useful in one on one PvP, since all the healing is coming from Stim/Bliel combos but it is hella fun for PvE.

I don't at all. MRifles/MCarbs/4004 Combat Medic. Or go Pistols for Carbs. Great attacks, 2 very nice, high powered weapons, wonderful heals, best damage shot in the game (both in sniper shot and in leg shot), 2 best snares (electro drain and crippling shot), area attack, 5 second mez (startle shot), aim, cover/conceal. What more could you want?

This was my template, but i dropped to pistols 0/0/0/3 to keep stopping shot and went 0/2/0/0 medic, with 25+ med eff i can heal 900 with shot and 600+ with toss, great for pvp

If you have CM 4000, I am not sure how much medic xx2x will make a difference, not much I guess... Also you can get terrain negotiation clothing to help with the lack of scout...
I'm currently Master Rifleman/Master CM/Pistols 0004/Medic x44x. I was Pistols 0034, but dropped it to get to medic x44x because of drag incapped player. All I do is pvp, and in pvp dragging an incapped player from in the middle of a bunch of area attacking jedi > healing him, because he'll just get capped again. With 0004, I get the extra +40 defense and a root. Mix that with +25 rifle speed/+25 general ranged speed and a damage capped/sac capped laser rifle, and off you go.
