seems like in the last week or so i have seen the " Miss" message a heck of a lot more than in the past and the damage overall seems to be lower. Is it just me?Have any other rifleman noticed this?

Thanks

I saw this too, but I also noticed I was inside 35m range.

When I backed out past 45m my hit to miss ratio seemd to go up (more hits) and my over all damage output was higher. ALso, when I backed up, I was using prone and kneeling positions.

What was your average range from your target?

now that you mention it i was in side the 40 m range area and i guess i can see that being a reason for the missed shots, just sems like it is happening more now then in the past

Noticed the same thing myself, it was more evident when closer in.

For me it was against regular mobs.

Find a local chef and pick up some Crispic. +40 to ranged accuracy. Lasts for like 18 min with a low fill, so pretty easy to slip into most diets!

I think it's more important now post-cu to kneel or stay prone for awhile to help improve accuracy.

If your missing a lot on that first important shot, like when using sniper shot, you might consider using /aim to start....I believe this helps your next shot be more accurate. Not sure what the improved bonus is but if your just starting to aggro something where every shot counts (nightsister, DJM, gorax, krayt, etc..) you might consider this approach.

Lastly, there is a food called Deuterium Pyro with over +200 ranged accuracy (from a good chef). It only lasts for about a minute but it can have some nice specific uses. Have a jedi that you seem to miss all the time due to his/her high defenses? Counteract that with some very high accuracy.

Speaking of food/drink/spice, and I realize this isn't exactly the right place to post this but wth...

What methods do you use for eating/drinking/shooting up? I have tried from inventory, but that can be difficult, especially when every time I open my inventory window everything is in different spots.

I have also tried filling a toolbar, but considering each spice is single use, most of the toolbar disappears after a long battle. That combined with the fact that I usually have all 6 toolbars filled with battle-related actions, macros, heals, buffs etc makes the toolbar a bad way to go for me.

I am pretty sure there is no slash command to eat/drink/shoot up unless the items are on a toolbarbutton, and again the spice becomes a problem here as I would have to change macros everytime I used it to update the location of the next spice.

Any suggestions would be helpful!
