Thread: What's the story with cover-up?

I'm MR/MBH. When soloing missions I never have a problem using cover-up. Works great; I can usually get 3 cover-shots off before my Imp targets see me. But when I'm in a group, it seems like my group-mates keep me from being able to cover. I get the message after the warm-up that I'm unable to cover because people can still see me, but I still get the cover-up icon under my HAM. Also, I lose that icon when I do anything that would break cover, so it would seem that I'm covered-up. But no! I can't use cover-up shot.
Anyone know what the deal is? Is this part bugged? I could understand (I suppose) if the Devs made it so you couldn't take cover near other people, even if they are on your team, but then why the covered icon when I try? And if the icon, why can't I use cover shot?
Any thoughts? Thank you,

group members interfere with cover
you need to be at least 20-30m (probably closer to the 30m mark) from your friends and their bikes pets what haveyou to enter cover
if they come within 20m of you cover will break once you are under cover.

WIth my CH/RM character I had this problem at first. Now I get 60M out, send in my pets, conceal shot x3, snipershot and I am usually done.

No I send them into battle from 60M's out. Once they get halfway to the traget I start the /conceal warmup. So I guess 30M's is the "target distance".
