There really is no point in using /concealshot in pvp and here's why: (most of you already realize this)
Let's say you go under cover and use conceal shot at your max distance. (mine is 80m) If it's really crowded a player may not realize where the shots are coming. But all they have to do to find you is look at their combat log, see who's hitting them, and then do a /target on you.
Here's how i propose to make it so that using cover and conceal shot actually give you an advantage if you use them with proper strategy.
When firing a conceal shot your name should be Xed out in the combat log, i.e. xxxx hits your for 500pts of damage. Also, when firing conceal shot only one bolt should actually fire making it harder for the target to see where you are firing from.
Additionally, IMO your cover should not be broken by anything except what you are shooting at Player or NPC. If a player or creature happens by you if you are truly under cover then they shouldn't notice you. Only ones who are actively searching you out. The exception would be if you are special forces and have initiated an attack. Then opposing SFs should be able to discover you. But the range should be shortened quite a bit to like 5-10m max.
We are supposed to be a ranged profession and have very little melee defenses. Our skills should provide us with ways of engaging in combat while effectively staying at range from our targets. Rooting shots help that but it is really just a short delay. If someone is under fire from an undercover rifleman then they have the option to disengage and run or actively search you out. Being able to instantly find out who is firing out you and target them to pinpoint their exact location is absurd.
I think these changes would make the rifleman profession much more interesting and fun especially when going PvP
