Anyone have this temp? Im currently MRM, MBH. Wanna try something new, like to be able to heal a group

If you go CM 4400 you can grab M Carbs or Pistols and still have nice heals and DoT's.

I"m MCM/MRM and Carb 0/0/4/0.


I had this template a long time ago, but went Doc so I could support myself financially. Now, thanks to the respec and the treatment that Docs got from CU, I'm back.


You can get some fairly decent skills early in CM, but Revive is in the master box so that's a good incentive to take master. I love the damage of Rifleman, and the combat tactics of the profession suit my play style so I haven't really combined CM w/ other professions but if you're after something other than pure damage then I'm sure there are some better combinations by dabbling a bit more. Also, the range on CM goodies is now way shorter than Rifle Range. When I was CM before CU I could pretty much craft my stuff to reach Rifle Range (60-65m). That doesn't seem likely now, so it might combine w/ a shorter range profession nicely.


Other templates would probably give you better crowd control shots and defense advantage, but like I said, I'm all about DPS so I love this template.


A good idea if you're shopping around for templates is to download the skillpoint calculator from www.bloodfin.org. That gives you a nice look at what skill trees you can afford to combine, and provides a summary of the skills and abilities granted (including speed and defense totals).

That is my template with some doc thrown in. I like it, the DoT's are nice but to be honest I'd rather have some BH or Scout, maybe CH or SL. I find that, at least in group PvE, heals do you more damage than good (i.e. throw a heal at a player that is mobbed and now the mob is yours). Throw a Bacta Spray (AoE heal) in a high level mob and you're as good as dead.

Interestingly enough I was thinking of dropping CM for BH

I Have MCM/MR (well will regain MR soon any way) and I like it, also with a bit of doc for wounds and1000 scout for the terrainand harvesting. I mostly solo with it and it works well, can solo my level and above. I recently soloedthe village sith with ease, even 3 at a time.

This is my template too with 0004 doc. I love it. I could drop some things and pick up some BH to get better damage, but as I am I can solo more than most othe combat lvl 80s. However, like it was said earlier be carefull healing in group. Everything will attack you after the first bacta spray. Best to have two people that can rez in your group that way you can take turns healing/dying.


Pre CU this template was popular as the uber mind killer (in PvPto throw a poisongaranteed that you were sent to top of the list of people to kill first). Post CU nothing is AOE for this template except bacta spray, and there is no damageable mind bar. Still it is a good overall template. You won't get the damage of a MR/MBH, but the healling will make the difference in almost every situation.

im Mater Rifles - Combat Medic - Marksman then i have 0003 Pistols for Root tho paralise and fire is also very nice
