Rifleman Archive

I am now just looking at becoming a Rifleman and I noticed something didnt seem right. Rifles and the muskets before them alwayshad a secondary purpose, asa club. I know this is just a wish, but if the pistoleers have a pistol-whip why couldnt the riflemen get some kind of rifle-butt attack.A defensive attacklike that would buy the rifleman enough time to move again out of melee combat.
