So a +5 to rifle speed translates to what exactly?

I need about 300 apprentice xp for master marksman.. but I wasn't gonna really bother with it.. but people say the +5 to speed that it adds to Rifle is definetly worth it.. I'm just wondering how much of a difference does it really make?

Short term it will probably make some. Long term if they put a speed cap of 2 or 3 seconds on us, it probably won't make a difference.

+ speed is a percentage of speed reduction to the weapon's speed.

So +50 rifle speed with a 7.4 attack speed T21 is 7.4x 0.5 or 3.7

At master the + speed is 90 to that's a 90% speed reduction or take the speed of your weapon and shift the decimal place left 1 making any rifle with speed 10 or less fire at the 1 sec speed cap. when not doign specials.

Specials take longer than normal shots, but still fire pretty fast at MRM's +90 speed skill even with a 7.4 speed T21 like I use.

At master the extra 5% speed will let you shoot almost all specials at the 1 second cap. Without it you will shoot specials at 2 seconds. Is this much change worth 34 skillpoints? That is the question.

Yeah, but I think 34 skill points is definetly worth 1 mill .. or even 2 mill..

Strafe Shot 2 bieng fired on a T21 with 8 speed.

With 90

(3.5 x 8) x .1 = 2.8, so you fire Strafe Shot 2 at about every 3 seconds

With 95(Master Marksmen)

(3.5 x 8) x .05 = 1.4, so you fire Strafe Shot 2 at about every 1 1/2 seconds

All I know is, before I used to shoot Strafe Shot 2 with my T-21once every 2 seconds, now its once per second, So double the DPS.

i have a +5 rifle aiming belt, in this case does aiming mean better accuracy or the stupid special 'aim' works better? also since i guess it helps accuracy, does it show up on the proffesions menu thingy or not?
