I am working on my novice rifleman box right now i have been using a pretty good laser rifle for now but would like to upgrade to something better. I dont know what to buy and who makes them on the Valcyn server. Can anyone help me. I am trying to go up Master Ranger/ Master Rifleman.

Laser,T21,SG82(if u wanna do diff damage type)

The laser has better hams than T21

The T21 is heavy Ap

SG82 Does cold damage which many enemies are vunerable too.

There is no single best rifle. A nicely sliced laser can do incredible damage, but it has high HAM costs and its damage is very variable. You could hit for 3000dmg on one special and then 250dmg the next shot.

SG82 is a good thing to keep on hand for those MOBs that have Energy Resistance.

DLT20a is not a bad general purpose gun.. very low HAM cost, and if its sliced properly can actually do decent damage.

E11 Rifle is like an armor piercing DLT20a.

T21 has very high HAM costs, but strong armor piercing and its damage can be far more consistent than the Laser Rifle. If you are lucky enough to get a damage slice on one, it could be your favorite heavy hitter.

Spraystick is a fun gun.. it should do Acid Damage, but it doesnt at the moment. That might change in the future. It shoulds very fast, with better close range accuracy, but with much lower damage than the other guns. This is basically a Rifleman's Pistol.


The two T21's that I tried to have sliced both ended with speed slices rather than damage. They get used against armored targets only. My Laser got a damage slice, and with the proper powerups its my weapon of choice for MASSIVE damage when I don't need armor piercing.
I use an E11, damage sliced and with no powerups for casual use. I carry an SG82 and spraystick but dont use them except in special cases.

Don't forget a Jawa Ion for those targets with Stun Vulnerabilities

I got a Krayt Jawa Ion done this morning. 30% damage slice and powered up it has 444 max damage

Makes those expensive advanced Compo suits worthless

The best weapons are made by Arox. Contacthim for the best rifle your credits can buy Not cheap of course, but well worth it.
