I've heard that before, which is why I asked the question, because according to the FAQ, Headshot3 looks better on paper...

Head Shot3 D x3.0 T x2.0 M x7

Flurry Shot2 D x2.0 T x2.3 M x6 (AE) Dizzy

HS3 seems to do more damage, and faster... So is FS2 more desireable because of the Area of Effect?

And, uhm, this may sound like a noob question, butdoesn't theAOE attackjust cause you get aggrod by mulitple mobs? What do you do then?

Depends on if u r going for master rifleman or just going to dabble in the profession.

If your are going master, i suggest going up the sniper branch fer accuracy, you also get conceal shot, then go up the counter snipebranch to get flushing 2.

If your are dabling then just go up the counter snipe3 boxto get flushing 2

Headshot 3 eats too much mind, perhaps more than the stats indicate, and not much more damage, ...most elite riflemen, if given a choice, would rather useHeadshot 2 over 3.

Creature will agro on u regardless in its AoE or not

If you are rifleman, i suggest u get yourself a tank pet to keep mob occupy unless you are willing to conceal shots all your combat encounters

Let's say that I plan to master it.

(after a very long while as a master creature handler, I finally realized that rifle is a better choice for me than pistols. Even without novice rifleman, just marksman rifle 4, I can do more damage than as a Master smuggler with last ditch... so with pets to tank for me, I'm definitely going rifleman now for PvE.)

So, let's say that I plan to master it... which route will help me to gain xp faster to get to master?

thanks.

conceal makes me invisible to the mobs?

indefinitely???

heheheh...totall agreement...i actually am still using Flushing 2 more than Strafe 2 when I hunt ...

I save Strafe 2 fer PvP...

Yes, they fixed it now so that when u use conceal shot on a target, it'sbuddies wont agro ontop of u...though i heard rumors that the devs are removing conceal shots...

I personally think its always alot better to have accuracy if u r planing to master...so go up the sniper line first...

But if you want to xp fast then I suppose flushing 2...since you can have your pet to tank and keep them busy while you blow them all away at the same time...heheheh

Accuracy helps some, but nowhere near as much as speed, plus Dizzy. Go 1003 first. The speed makes and incredible difference, and the Dizzy helps anincredible amount against NPCs. The speed increase also makes T21's a lot more viable a weapon in autofire mode.

training is at least twice as fast if you have flushing shot 2, i recently got it and in about 3 hours i got intermeditae conceal tactics and expert sniping, i would definately go for flushing 2 first, then go up the sniper line. what i was doing to get xp was going to dantooine and getting piket plains walkers missions, i'd take a muon gold and send in my sludge panther and just area dmg everything that was attacking it. It can sometimes be tricky though beacause you have to make sure everything is in combat with your pet or else they will start attacking you. i finished each mission by the time my muon wore off, so i can get the 2 missions done and get back to town in about 30 mins or so. I was doing hurton howler missions before but a lot more enemies come out of the lair for the pikets so its faster xp in less time. GOOD LUCK
