I would think no species with no amount of drugs, food or buffs could pull that off.

But then i could be wrong. i have seen Wookies with Leku's. So I've been wrong before.

starting focus 675, spice, 2 foods that boost focus and you can do it with a laser rifle

I think the magic number is around 1500.

I'm fairly sure I've seen someone say they had that much focus and no mind cost.

My guildy is about to hit master chef so I'm going to try to get him to makeme lots of +focus foods.

1500 might be the number because at 1100 I can Spam Speacials a hell of alot.

Imagine it, Spaming Strafe Shot 2 until you run out of action.

I just confirmed this, Just now, it's 1490 focus for zero mind costs. I can get my focus up to 2600 with spice and food, lol but thats kinda useless.. heh.

Master Musician Buffs bring my Focus up to 1k and Willpower to 1400. Means I regen my mind damange before I fire my next shot. And then after about 80 shots, my Action and health run out. =(

Not a rifleman anymore (thinking of comming back) but try 2 ryshcates and one Breath of Heaven that should give you 0 ham costs across the board and thy last almost 10 min by which time you can eat and drink another to repeat the process. All with no downer and not haveing to find a entertainer to buff you.

My "Riflewoman" is Zabrak with 500 Focus, 900 Willpower. When I plan to use a HAM eating rifle I use 1 Ryshcate + 1 BOH resulting in about 1400 Focus. The duration of those isn't very long but it is long enough to destroy a piket lair or for a quick PVP round. And if it wears off you can just eat/drink another one of those and are set again. With this setting my mind regeneration is good enough to keep my blue bar full.
