Thread: How do you single pull?

I'm working TKA and I just got novice Rifleman. At the moment I'm having some issues trying to single pull. I was hunting Piket Plainswalkers last night on Dantooine and ususally always got 3 of them, which put a pretty good hurt on me by the end of the fight.

Right now I go prone at 60m hit one with Mindshot1 then stand up, spam peace and run. Now I'm sure there is a better way, but I don't know what it is

Any tips, tricks or hints would be a big help. I use a 5spd 505dmg Laser Rifle.

the tactic you described is the only one i'm aware of. however, there are rumours that conceal shot will be changed from it's current state to a single-pull shot.

That's actually the standard tactic that you'll seerecommended (at least until the single pull Rifle ability is added in). I'm Master Rifle and have been working on TK a bit. I've actually been trying to get all the mobs on me at once personally. I just stack mindshot 1 and 2 on the entire lair, by the time the first tick on the initial one hits I've got em all bleeding. Then I just run into the middle and start swinging away.

Doesn't particularly help you as it seems you're trying to do the reverse though.

I don't buy it. If you're always failing you're either not doing it as you've described or you're a plant from SoE trying to convice us a single pull shot is a good thing. Please read the following thread (especially near the end) for a discussion of this tactic: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=rifleman&message.id=32348

I know not exactly what you're asking.. but I suggest the picket longhorn missions.. You'll ususally get 2-3 picket females, and one picket longhorn.. The females doen't social agro, so you can pound on them all ya like and the other females won't care. However if the longhorn is around he will agro on you if you pick on the females.. But if you get the longhorn first the females don't care. Guess he's protective of his women.

On a rifle note, the only thing I've found is that I can sometimes "push" someone away but this tends to be NPCs though.. They seem to love to move away from my concealed shots. Nothing like setting up at 64m, get one-two shots off and they move to 67m

I agree, this person is a SOE plant. I registered the same day and have double the posts as this person.

Look out! Black SOE helicopters!

Haha, you guys are funny. No, I'm not a SOE stooge. I'm just trying not to get pounded on by 4 mobs at a time. But if I were a SOE stooge, I would make sure that you guys never got your FS slot unlocked
