I'm curious as to how the rifleman speed works.

so you can 1 cap with a 7.7 speed rifle? just trying to undestand how this profession works...

In range proffesion, you get Speed mods. Rifleman you get Rifle Speed mods. SO when you hit master Rifleman, you have a +90 speed mod. This is not "capping". You need a 100 Speed mod to fire at 1.0 every time.. You need +10 inb attachment with master rifleman.

if you stop at 97 you should be set (for weapons up to around 9 speed i think)

there is no delay modifier on any of the specials? or does speed cancel that out too?

that handy little site lists all the delay modifiers of all the ranged specials. hope it helps.

oh, and your actual delay is given by

weapon speed * delay modifier * (100 - rifle speed) / 100

so advanced strafe on a 7.7 speed rifle at master rifleman (+90 rifle speed) would fire once every

7.7 * 3.5 * (100 - 90) / 100 = 2.7 seconds.
