Thread: What should I hunt to get Rifles 4 and then Novice Rifleman?

I would like to know, cause savage quenkers are taking way too long. Also id like to know what kind of pet I should get as a non ch to tank for me so I can get xp without missing like crazy. Thanks.

Kill Rontos. Lots and lots of Rontos. At novice rifleman you can get 50k-60k xp from one static spawn lair.

Savage quenkers got nerfed...went from 4200 HAM to about 7K
Slice Hounds on Corellia re quite good, they give 2K XP for about 2K HAM I think.

Rontos can be found on Tatooine. They are fairly common...you can get missions for them, but I just ride out to the Dune sea to the East of Jabba's palace and look for natural spawns. They have herb meat, so I hunt them from time to time to help me with my buff pack production.

I have been hitting Ferral Banta (sp?) they give just over 1000k of xp and go down in two head shot2 hits.

Interesting. Do you have to go to a specific city on Tat to get rontos missions?
Same question for corellia and slice hounds.

No specific City, you just have to be able to get the mission level high enough to draw the Ronto missions. I think they start at mission difficulty 19 (from memory), so you may have to pull out some faction pets to get missions that high. Slice hounds have a lower difficulty level, but I can't remember what it is.
