Just made Novice Rifleman and didn't get to try out Strafe Shot before the server went down.
Whats the multiplier and does it do anything else. Should I use this or continue to use headshot 2? I also just got flurry shot from the combat xp tree, which I understand can dizzy right?

Here's what I managed to pull from our very nice FAQ
Strafeshot 1: 2x damage modifier with 2x delay and 5x Mind cost. Special effect- Delay+ clear /Cover
Flurryshot 1: 2.5x damage modifier with 2.0 delay and 5x Mind cost. Special effect- Dizzy
So what's this mean? Strafeshot 1 would be great for negating your opponents defense modifiers gained by taking cover. It would also delay them for 10 seconds if they were in a covered state. However, Cover is basically pointless as things are right now. In PvP, you don't dare go prone, so even if Cover did work well or was worth using, the delay effect wouldn't come into play
You're better off sticking with HS2.
As for Flurryshot, it is very nice when you want to Dizzy your opponent. The natural follow-up to Dizzy is to KD your opponent rendering them quite defenseless. To do this, you'll need SuppressionFire from Marksman Support IV. It is on a 30 sec timer, so don't bother trying it immediately after it fails (which it will do oftentimes). I don't find this combo effective in PvP as it can be very tough to get SuppressionFire to stick on a non-NPC opponent. However, it is the only KD we have, so sometimes it can be handy. If you run faction missions often, I'd recommend this combo while levelling Rifleman. It's fairly effective on NPCs and, more importantly, it's lotsa fun
If you don't have Marksman Support IV yet, you may want to look into it. You'll have to decide if the investment is worth it to you- after you Master Rifleman, it won't be of too much use as Flushingshot 2 and Strafeshot 2 kill everything much faster
