Thread: Just a question about Rifleman specials?

I am working on Master Rifleman with another charactor and I am trying to figure out the specials.

I notice that there is Flurry Shot which adds a Dizzy and a Startle Shot that will causes an opponent to increase thier stance. So, here is what I do:

  1. Flurry Shoot 2 (stick the Dizzy)

  2. Surpression Shot (Gets them th kneel)

  3. Startle Shot 2 (gets them back standing)

What is confusing me is that they guy never flops? What good is a posture change if when he changes posture the dizzy doesn't work? This does not happen to me with my BH, I hit a Dizzy and a Supression and the guy is flopping like a fish out of water.

Is this just something that is bugged with Rifleman or am I doing something wrong?

Also, what is the difference between Startle Shot and Flushing Shot? They both change posture (up) but Startle adds a stun, so what is Flushing shot for?

Thanks for the help, I know this has probably been covered in the past, but I did not see anything on the first 2 pages.

Dizzy only causes a knockdown when the posture up is voluntary. The dizzy target must do it on it's own.

Try the following on an NPC target, who is using a ranged weapon:

1.- Hit him with Flurry shot until the Dizzy icon appears.

2.- If the NPC is standing suppression fire. If not skip this step.

3.- Move out of range.

The NPC will choose to get up to pursue, and have a chance of falling down. Remember that it is a chance, and not a guaranteed KD.

Not sure about Startleshot, but Flushing 1&2 should add a Stun

Unfortunately our posture up does not cause the flop. The best method for getting the flop is to stick your dizzy, then force your posture down and then back out of range. As soon as they get up voluntarily they will flop.
