If you max only one of either focus or willpower will you regenerate mind as fast as if you had both statsmaxed?

Most I think will tell you that maxing focus is more important than willpower. With 1100 focus + 1 brandy, you will hit the 1400 mark of no mind cost per shot. So, a lot of riflemen have 400's across HA and 1100, 1100, 800 in the mind slots. Not losing mind in the first place is better than regenerating it quickly is the theory there.

You do not have to regenerate that which you do not lose. And since you will likely never get your will power high enough to regenerate mind faster than someone can take it from you during a fight, all a high regen rate will do islessen your downtime between battles. Therefore, Focus is more important than Willpower..

Totally. It's better to have a high focus/low willpower and kill your opponent then to have low focus/high willpower and kill yourself.
