ok i just would like to know how good rifleman will be with tkm. Good.right now i am just a tka novice but would like to know if rifleman is any good at pve? Very, very good. will i be able to solo a krayt. You are not supposed to be able to solo a krayt and this is a bad basis for choosing a profession. That said, yes- you will be able to solo a krayt. That doesn't mean it will be easy though.
also what is the max damage done by amaster rifleman? Depends on the rifle. Using a high-end T-21 (700+ max damage) and SS2, you can hit for over 3500 before adjusted for PvP, resists, and armor. That, however, would bearound your max damage and you have to take into consideration the minimum damage too to get a proper idea as to what your DPS will actually be. and finally is rifleman better than swordsman in pve. While some classes are 'easier' than others due to balance issues, one cannot simple state that any combat class is just plain 'better' than any other. Many times, you will find that which class is better depends on what you're fighting.because i want to keep tka because of the amount of time it took me to get it and i am looking for something thats good at pve to go with it. TKA is generally good at both PvE and PvP- PowerBoost, Force of Will, CoB, high melee/ranged defenses, and sheer power all make TKA an excellent class. any advice would be appriciated Hope you find this of use to you. ![]()

Rifleman is good in PvE.
You should not be able to solo a Krayt. That is not what is suppose to happen.
Max damage depends on the weapon, armor level, and resists of the target. However Rifleman has one of the better damage multipliers with StrafeShot2 which is 5X. Plus it is AoE.
Rifleman is better than Swordsman in some PvE but not as good against other MOBs. Whether it is overall better will depend on what MOBs you want to take out and your play style.
Finally, I'm also picking up TKA. I can easily say that going thru TKA was a lot easier than it was to go thru Rifleman. But I did Rifleman awhile back and there have been changes to both professions since then. But I made 2/2/4/3 TKA in just a couple days of casual playing. It took me a lot longer to get that in Rifleman. But I was doing it without buffs, armor, food, and while contending with the 2.5X melee penalty and creature warping.
So overall grinding is easier now then it was a number of months ago.
