Thread: Killin Kimos

Just started to level RM really and am now at 4103. I hate to admit it but I have joined your profession only for the ability to kill Giant Dune Kimos for yes, the vaunted Scale. What is the best technique for killing them? At my level I think I would have to bang away on the concealshot button for like 20 mins. At Master can you just stand toe to toe with them andheadshot and or strafeshot them to death? How long does it take? A few questions- any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Concealshot may be the way to go unless you're a Rifleman/Doc. Kimos like to disease you (poison too maybe...). If you have a decent tank, SS2 shouldn't take too long. Couple minutes maybe?

buffs, 90 percent resist armor and novice medic for stim b's and u can tank anything for literally forever or till your armor gives out heh.
personally i hate its that way, because imo the game isnt intended for that to happen hence why we have a combat revamp upcoming. but thats how to do it if your going to do kimos.
yesterday i ran into an enraged kimo on lok while gathering leathery hides, i sent in my lvl50 gurreck and started adv strafing. reason i was using my cat is because i was unbuffed doing missions. (brings the danger back into the game imho, so i dont use doc buffs very often) took about 8 min and alot of petstims/stim d's to take him down but yielded 1k units of hide heh.

When I was just master riflemen, I could go toe to toe with a GDK for about 2 mins strafing before I was so diseased that my black bars put me in the cloner. For a master riflemen, the best method for taking GDK's is still conceal shot. GDK's are one of the worst mobs for non-docs due to their dirty diseasing ways. If you have doc 4000 even, you could solo them all day. A fencer or tka can tank them long enough for you to finish them off very easily with a rifle, but beyond concealing, being a doc, or having a good tank, I don't think just unloading with strafe or headshot will work.....now watch as someone explains how it's done.
