Thread: Some PvP questions for the vets here...
Well, as the title of the post implies I've got some PvP questions for those of you who are vets at it.
I'll be hitting Master Rifleman tonite (crosses fingers) but, previous to this I've tried PvP on several occasions and have had my tail handed to me on a silver platter. Do any of you have any suggestions and/or strategies that I could take advantage of so that I could get better? Or is it really just trial and error?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I was CH and Rifleman and i didn't fair too well inpvp - main problem was no melee def. Since eveyone is usually buffed your pets aren'ttheir focus so the combat is still focused on you. And if you are fighting a melee fighter, you are gonna probablybe dizzy/kd and beat to a bloody pulp.
I picked up TKM, but mainly use Rifleman in pvp - and I do very well even unbuffed - just can't use as many special attacks. I would suggest flushing shot, flurry shot, suppression fire.. for a startusing a low ham, high accuracy Distruptor rifle (also eat some accuracy food). Then the ol' mind bleed, mind shot.
If you are with a group you should do alright, just watch out for the melee fighters.
couple of things you can do. buy a couple of speed attachments so you hit the cap. if you're really going for pvp, i'd suggest dropping ch. you get little to no defenses as a rifleman. for the best defenses, go fencer/rifle. that way you can get a couple of shots in from afar and finish up with probably the best melee profession out there, plus you get some pretty good defenses. over all i'd say rifleman is one of the best ranged professions. remember to go up the ranged support tree in marksman to get supression fire. use flurry shot to dizzy,supression to posture down, and flushing shot toposture up andthey'llgo down for the count.NOTE: the chances of this working on even your average defense stacker is slim to none. mostly useful against your bh types.
