depends on your level, and the level of the target.

fierce piket protectors (agro, DB) give 4.5k or so for a master rifle
piket longhorns, maybe 4k
regular pikets 3.25k and up.

quenkers, less, unless you want the ravagers and relic reapers (diseases/poisons). i'd recommend against those.

nice thing about pikets is that you always get 3 or more per spawn (although they do gen babies with distressing frequency).

Everyone always recommends Dantooine for leveling, but I found Tatooine to be very favorable also. It has been months since I mastered, but I used to huntMountain Squill on Tatooine. When grouped with a droid, they used to give 4500+ xp. Bocatts aren't bad either... somewhere in the upper 3000's if I remember right. Best incident I remember is finding a "natural" (non-mission) spawn of Bocatts on Tat. I kept killing them and they kept spawning. I think I got over 40 bocatts out of that lair. Also kill lots of Bull Rontos and Bull Banthas... little less xp but easy to kill and numerous.

yeah, and cannibal dewbacks and dune lizards at the krayt graveyard are good xp too.

i agree with wayne... tat is a decent levelling planet. if you get near the krayt graveyard, the spawn rate is pretty good too.

I used Pikets to grind. I didn't use pets and there was no Wookiee armor at the time so the Pikets were a good choice since they don't DB. They also spawn 9 Pikets per lair. Grouped with a droid for the extra XP you get about 3.5k per Piket. So you get a total of about 30-35k per lair mission.

I hunt where ever the best harvestable resource is, except dant, its way too laggy for me to play on, its really anoying. Dath is always a good place for me too.

I'd advise against Savage Quenkers these days, since the last patch they have increased in HAM and now do ranged attacks. I would now recommend standard quenkers, if you are in a solo group they give 3,000 xp per quenker and 5 spawn each time. So thats 15 quenkers x 3000 +lair XP-the odd baby spawn = around 45,000 xp per lair. Nice and relatively painless if buffed and drunk.

I did pickets both times I did rifleman. I tried doing quenkers this last time (last week) because alot of people say it is great xp, but it was not as great as I thought it would be.
