Thread: unbuffed stats in PvP

It seems to me that for the rifleman profession, focus would be important, as the specials require so much mind (willpower and mind should prolly also be high)

What are good unbuffed stats for rifleman in PvP?

If you are human, I believe the standard PvP stats are:
H
400
400
400

A
400
400
400

M
1100
900
1100

or somthing like that. Pretty much maximize your mind and willpower and put whatever else is remaining into focus. Entertainer buffs are dependent on your current stats (they get doubled). Doctor buffs are much stronger and don't depend on your current stats. So you put as much as you can into your mind stats and spread out whatever remains in your health and action.

Actually standard in human mind is:

1100 - 1100 - 800

Focus is more important than willpower. Because it is better to not spend the mind than to regen it faster.

Unfortuanatly, if you are a zabarak like me your mind maxes out at:
1000
500
900
The thing that gets me is the description of zabaracks is "incredible will power" Yet we cap at 900.

The other 6 stats don't really matter since buffs will make up for anything you lack here.

It's worse for Twi'leks. Mind stats cap at 1100 500 500.

Does anyone know if the devs ever gave a reason for the ridiculous human mind stats, or is it still considered a "bug"?

no humans are just considered the most versatile race considering they are the most common and can adapt to most planets resonably quickly, plus it makes up for the humans lack of race abillities like equalibrium, vitalise and whatever else there is

Hehehe, yeah like you know... the +5 dancing and the +10 cover REALLY help the other races so much

Kidding though. Equilibrium is an uber ability, but unfortunately... its on a 1 hr timer.

After reading this, im rolling a hummie

Once you reach 1500 focus you have 0 mind cost. Any more is a waste. With 1100/1100/900 + musician buffs and 2 brandies you're at 3000 focus. Even with 1500 encumberance armor it's plenty.

1100/900/1100 is far better since it allows an extra 400 willpower to help you fight off Mind Poison.

Hopefully they will fix the human statbug in the combat balance...

Just making sure Darth_Llama didn't miss your post. Lots of people still say 'Human stat bug'. It'd have been fixed by now if it were (and I'm too lazy to look through the Dev Tracker, but I'm sure there's a post on it somehwere...)
