Hello fellow Rifleman!

I have been a Master for quite some time now, but at this point need advice as it pertains to armor. I would like to be able to wear a set of full composite and still be able to spam specials to my hearts content. I currently buff mind with two doses of brandy and two meals of ashari (sp) at the same time, but more often that not find that I eventually need to remove my armor, before losing my mind completely (in game and out).

Can anyone give me recommendations as to what kind of stats on Composite may work best with a Rifleman ( I'm starting to think that I should focus less on the 80% stuff and more on the encumbrance levels) and also techniques and or foods for mind buffs. Bottom line is I wanna know how you guys are keeping your armor on? Also any recommendations for good armorsmiths would be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

First off you might wanna tell us what the armor is for, if it is for PVP then encumbrance wont matter, and you need to migrate your stats for higher focus and willpower +mind. If its for PVE you shouldnt be using comp much, however i do so that was a very hipocritical statement. Basically if its PVE take your helm off until you need it. If you get into trouble treat a Muon Gold like a stimpack for your mind.

A few questions for you:

(1) What are you current mind stats?

(2) Are you using BE brandy and Ahrisa? Each dose should be at +400.

(3) What is the encumbrance on your armor?

My current set up is as follows: My mind stats are 800/800/600. My best all-around armor has 800 mind emcumbrance. While wearing this, I drink two brandies, which gives me an additional ~800 across the board. The brandies take care of the encumbrance. Two Ahrisas give me another ~800 focus, and that takes care of the specials cost.

Great info and questions, currently I mostly PVE and don't use armor much for that, but that's cause it is a pain.

I will have to check my mind stats, as I am at work right now (but it will be helpful to compare them to yours) when I did my Stat migration, I was a relative noobie, and was really just taking stabs at it, in hopes of wearing a full suit of composite. I always wonder if I could set my stats more appropriatley.

I would like to PVP more, which is really why I was asking.

It seems like I am doing good with the Brandy and Ahrisa thing.

I will also have to check my encumbrance ( what is a good range for this?)

Thanks for trying to help

As a human you could do what many do and spend all attribute points in mind. This way you can have 1000/1000/1000 or anything around that. This will most likely be changed but if you want to take advantage of it untill then, it will help you.

You said you used two ahrisa. Good ahrisa should be around 400+ focus, 45 min and 33% filling so if yours is worse than that, try and find another chef.

High Stat Canape!!! I find one brandy and one or two canapes if you want do just fine. Stat's for the canape should be 400 or higher per serving. And this is on top of low focus and willpower to begin with. So anyone who has migrated those stats high should find this much more satisfying.

Human who almost exclusively PvP's except for geno cave whoring.

Health= 400/500/500
Action= 400/500/500
Mind= 1000/800/800

Allows me to wear Stun compo Helm, chest, and a full suit of encumbrance sliced, non-stunCompo. Works really well, because I'm a master doc too. I just heal off any H/A damage. I could probably get away with just the stun helm, but the chest gives fencers/pistols something to worry about.
