Thread: specice and mind stats Q

I am starting a new template that is going to be master rifleman, master 2h swords and as much med as possible. now the only problem that I have with this is the fact that I am a twi, as a twi my secondary mind pools are very gimped and cannot exceed 500 now my question to all of you is this. Do you think that I would be greatly burdened by this as a rifleman, swordsman? I know that both humans and zabs can have a much greatter mind pool so would you suggest throwing away my current char and creating a new one? do not take into consideration all the past profs. I have mastered or my items creds ect. for I can have a friend hold those for me, while I do this.

Nah, keep your Twi'lek. You'll need food/drink/spice, but who doesn't? 
It's better to play the specie you want rather than worrying about what's 'best'. The real best can be any specie- it all depends on the player.

dont worry about it. the combat revamp is coming and taht will pretty much nerf the entire universe so there is no telling what will be good and what wont. would be a shame if you toss your twilek for human and the balance re-instates the original human stats and twilek would have been a better choice....

I am a twi'lek rifleman/swordsman unless u use food/drinks the rifles HAm will kill u faster than the enemy and sit ok with swords as swords doesnt really use much mind pool but attacking fast with a scythe with just doc buffs and no ent buffs a scyth can go throour u really fast.. i use 3 ahrisa and 2 brandys if i got no ent buffs.... u use 0 mind HAM with that food/drink combo even with a ful suit of compo.. or if u do its minimum and ur high willpower from the brandy help that out... twilek is prolly the WORST species unless ur an ent hell even mon cal's get alertness lol
