Thread: I am causing bleeds when using conceal shot, why?

I have noticed that all the weapons I have bought in the last 2 months or so are causing my targets to bleed when Iam using conceal shot. Before you ask, no there are no DOT damage attacks on my weapons, they are run of the mill T-21's and dxr-b's. It is really frustrating lining up on an elder, then whenever you get her down 25%, your best weapon causes a bleed and you have to high tail it or die. Did I miss something in a publish about this or is it just a bug? Thanks for any info provided.

I don't remember it in any patch notes, but it is entirely necessary.

Without it, any rifleman could solo any mob in the game, afk with a macro. Honestly, where would the fairness be in that?

anytime a weapon causes a wound there is a small chance for a bleed to occur. the bigger the wound the higher the chance for that small bleed to happen. this doesnt effect just rifles. its every weapon or attack that does wounds.

Ah, so that is why when I do my attacks, sometimes they bleed anyway.

And not just talking about conceal shot.

So because bleeds are nerfed, the best ranged weapons in the game are high damage and low wound?

Its something that they put in the game to make it harder for us to solo high-level MOBs. Otherwise, we could just sit there all day long on a Krayt or something like that.

Was it ever written in patch notes or anything? Also, my older weapons don't do this but my newer ones do. Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks

high damage is always good but wound percent really doesnt matter unless your concealshotting a krayt or a elder nitesister. low wound % is best for those situations.

For PvP you probably want high damage and low wound. Wound chances are only really good for PvP since MOBs very rarely heal themselves. Also since MOB's don't incap. They just die.
