Wanted to give update on my efforts soloing kratys.
Objective:
To develop character capable of soling krayt dragons in an effort to loot pearls for my jedi andtissue for resale with capability of also doing some PVP, quests, bunkers, etc...
Template:
Master Rifleman
Master Swordsman
Fencer (novice right now, working on 0040)
Weapon:
T21
Power Hammer
Results of efforts:
Finished up master swordsman and novice fencer (working leveling up a bit more fencer)and decided to give it a go last night. I headed out to Mos Krayt with average buff of 2100 across all stats, brandy and canape well stocked in inventory and wearing my80% composite armor.
Accompanied by one of my friends I headed out to the valley and proceeded to hunt for a slumbering dragon. After about 10 minutes I finally found a Canyon Krayt (357k HAM) sleeping like a baby. Got off my bike, gulped down a double-shot of brandy along with some canape and let go with a few concealed shots and peaced. No problem, the krayt jumped up and was on me in like two seconds...LOL!
Since it was on top of me, I let him have it with a few mindshot3s and mindshot2s, got a bleed going and then swtiched to swordsman and started pounding his mind with my hammer. To be honest I was very surprised at how well this build handled the krayt. My life went down maybe 15% or so and I healed as a precaution, but otherwise it was pretty uneventful. After a lot of roaring, clawing and tail slamming, I killed him in a little over 10 min. No real problems, no heals needed, just kept eye on brandy and canape. My life went down maybe 15% or so and I healed as a precaution, but otherwise it was pretty uneventful.
I tracked down another two canyon krayts and killed them as well. Had a couple other people join in, but was doing kick-butt damage and didn't lose loot. Unfortunately, I only got krayt scale and composite armor segments - no pearls or tissue.
In my opinion Rifleman was not needed for krayt hunting. I was very impressed with swordsman. He held his own, toe to claw with the krayt no problem. However, rifleman is a cool profession for other ventures such as PVE, night sister hunting, PVP, etc. Rifleman adds good value to this build and I dont see myself changing or dropping it any time soon.
If the price of pearls is killing you as it is me, then this is not a bad build. It adds good versatility and is a lot of fun besides.

Don't use Canape. Start using Ahrisa. If its made good it will last as long as your Brandy. 2 shots of brandy, +800; 2 helpings of Ahrisa +800 and both of those can last for 40 min!
Besides no HAM/Mind cost to the Rifleman when using specials!

couple things. ahrisa will top out in the 400's but you can easily get it to 33% filling. as for soloing the krayt, that's the easy part. keeping him to yourself long enough to do it is often much harder. I have this same build as far as master rifle/swordsman and the rifle is invaluable when it comes to others jumpin in. let them tank on the krayt they are trying to take away from you while you stand back and shoot em.
