mindshot 1&2 are a bleed, which Jedi will also probably cure with the Force, but as far as I know not wounds more than any other attack.

they do i minute measure of wounding... look when you get a bleed put on you buy anything npc/pc and you will see that you pick up a small number of wounds on the stat that is bleeding...

I can just see a "Wait for the Combat Revamp" and "Wait for the Smuggler Revamp" quote all rolled into one.
"Wait for the Smuggbat Revamp"

I have been playing about six months ago (I was on deployment when game came out) I was playing with buddies of mine and I seem to rember things about rifleman that aren't true now that I have reached master. I didn't grind riflman, except for faction missions which aren't exactly conducive to mastering in 2 days lol. for example, did mindshot 1 & 2 ever give wound damage? I seem to rember them doing that, which was very useful when my friends were attacking jedi, as it seemed to make them run through there force faster healing wounds.

Any bleeding shot for any weapon causes more wounds and battlefatigue than other specials. Many of the descriptions for bleeding attacks specifically say they "wound" the target instead of "bleed" the target.

Try dueling a friend and spamming 20 mindshot2's on him then /peace. Notice the number of wounds and BF he gained in that short time.

Yes Rifles did and still do wound damage.

I can take my Laser Rifle and do wound damage with it still. I did months ago before they 'fixed' rifleman skills, claiming that rifleman was to powerful....o_O. Blahhh whatever...

Just for fun I proved to a friend of mine that Yes, Conceal actualy Does work and No, it's Not a waste of time...

Took him on a little journey, started off with some easy things, Fambaas, rouges to be exact, concealed theu bugger to death with wounds...

Next we went to tat, found a krayte and started to conceal, was doing great till my friend decided to start shooting...we both cloned in the same place and he sheepishly grinned at me...

I took him to Dath, found an elder and was doing great...concealed her to death with wounds, found another and he than decides he wants to help...starts to shoot and who do you think the lucky person was that got to die first...ME. he followed shortly after, with the threat of me killing him if he ever did that to me again. >:\

Wounds still do show up, but it's small wounds.

I dueled my husband for fun, incapped him and than Snipped his but...he cloned to have Wounds.

The conceal is great as long as no one else shoots...

The wounds still work, just doesn't show as much as they used to.

I'm one of those lucky one that have found an un-sliced...un-power-uped laser rifle with the max damage of close to 700 with a 3.2 speed. Sad part is...I seem to forget to repair my rifles, and I know I have killed them when I start missing an awful lot... *blushes* oops.

I love the Rifleman skills.

All weapons havea wound chance. The DXR6b tends to have a greater chance of wounding than do most other rifles. Also, there is a relationship between wounds and bleeds. This has always been the case. In addition to what someone else said about some bleed descriptions referring to wounds, if you look at the Primus strategy guide (which is based mainly on beta information), you will seereferencesthat wounds cause bleeding. This, I believe, is the reason you get random bleeds sometimes. I suspect you will find that the higher the wound chance on the weapon and the higher the damage you do, the more likely it will be that you will get random bleeds.

While that connection may be tenuous, what is true is that bleeds cause wounds and that the longer the bleed goes, the higher the wounds will be. For proof, go out and fight a higher level mob that tends to bleed you. Jantas and Moks are good for this. Get a bleed and let it run its course. You will find that the stat that was bleeding will have a high number of wounds. Conversely. get the bleed and heal it immediately, and you will find that you will have very few wounds.

So, you will have a greater chance of causing wounds if you use a weapon with a higher wound chance. However, to really cause wounds, use Mindshot to bleed them. You will not cause as many wounds as before they nerfed bleed damage (i.e, lower bleeds means less wounds), but as long as the target does not stop the bleed, you will cause wounding.
