I was in a very large group last night (2 group had 20 the other had 18) and we must have killed at least 300 Rancors. Now CH exp was killer but rifle was crap. getting like 1.5k CH exp off aRancor as oposed to 600 (or nothing) for the rifle.

Now I was using the Laser rifle mostly and swithching back to the T21 sometimes. Next time should I bring the spraystick when hunting Rancors to keep up with everyones DPS?

What's your skill leveland what attacks were you using?

I am 2 0 3 2 right now & my groups get mad & tell me to change weapons because I get the lion's share of xp. Flushing 1 & 2, Flurry 1, Startle, sure they are all random, but I am mostly hitting the health pool with them. Since just about everyone else is using pistol, this works out pretty dang good. And I mostly use a Laser as well, sliced for damage.

And god forbid the mobs cluster up,our AOE attacks arejust nasty.

After looking at my previous post, I need to make some comments as life is not all that peachy keen as a Rifleman.

The groups I was traveling with were smaller and we weren't hunting Rancors. Also, at 0 0 0 0 though 1 0 0 0, I specifically avoided groups because I would get lost in the crossfire & get hardly any xp. I still primarily solo, mostly because groups are hard to find and are typically unorganized.

It wasn't until I got flushing 1 and flurry 1 that I was able to start competing.

Things really get fun with flushing2 or flurry2 so you can hit multiple tagets.

Now i am 3/1/1/2 in to rifle. Waht attacks should i be using in a group? The rancors were dead befoe I would get like 5-6 shots in on a Rancor before it was dead (less with the T21). When I did the traditional MS2 MS1 HS2 I would get zero exp.

I would suggest ditching the T21 & laser for a good n fast DLT20a or E11 (if you need thesrmor piercing)& do Flurry and Flushing shots. You will strike more often & damage the same pools they are hitting. When you get Flushing 2, you will put BIG holes in things.

Try it out, see how you like it. DLT20a with a speed slice and damage power-up would prolly do you nice, and I think you will like the HAM costs. I've never hunted Rancors, so I dont know what kind of AR / Resists they have. For armor piercing, the e11 w/speedslice and damage poweupisnice... Just look for a low HAM model. The one I got yesterday has 35 mind cost, which I am guessing is pretty good since my old one had 46.

You need big damage in groups = ) That means > 1/0/0/0

Need flushing shot 2 and you will have your whole group saying "man, you're stealing all the exp!"

First I wouldnt join groups so large. Keep the groups to like 4-6 people. I wouldnt attack the mind pool unless there is 1 or 2 other rifleman also. I would go up and get flushing shot 2, counter-sniping 3. It will be an attack that will get you master rifleman. In groups I am the main damage dealer while everyone else pecks away at their one mob im hitting all 4 mobs attacking our graul mauler...
