They said there will be a damage increase for rifles + an accuracy increase. Why is this better than the speed? Because the speed dosent help at all for firing special attacksso this means all we need to do is fire one strafeshot 2 or headshot 3 and we get 1 hit incap there is no need for using regular /attack in pvp

Although im not too sure what kind of a damage increase were talking about here...

The damage increase will not happen. Also it is very easy for a Master Rifleman to get +100 speed, that alows us to shoot our specials at 1 sec, so they are effectively cutting our damage by 2/3.

They have not done a good job thinking this out, they will find out soon enough that they will not be able to up our damage without running the risk of us one shoting all the time. I know we can do it now, I do it and others too in PvP, but how much can they realisticly raise our damage without making it almost guranteed one shot kill?

One of the first things mentioned was increasing Rifle damage to make up for the slower speed. It would be expected that if they'd make us do more damage to compensate for our slower speed faster classes would be doing less damage to compensate for their faster speed.Higher damage would also be a way of making our special attacks HAM effecient if they don't want to change HAM costs. That doesn't matter though, all they really need to do is make Rifle damage higher compared to other professions.

Either way damage output done by players is far too high and will probably be changed through an across the board DPS decrease in players or an all encompasing HAM increase. I'm expecting HAM increases as that wouldn't change weapon costs so they wouldn't have to worry about rebalancing weapon costs in addition to other changes.

are you kidding me? as a master rifleman you barely ever miss in most situations.. making us more accurate is near meaningless.
