Thread: next months Top 6
Its time we start worknig on it, even though they have yet to answer our most recent.
Present your top 6 issues, also read over the last reports to make sure they were not already sent in.

1 Surpriseshot is still broken ( you can use it w/o takecover), and the dmg is subpar. I HIghly doubt it is working as intended even after the sept4th patch.
2 Commando weopons (flamethrowers ect..) are beeing counted as melee attack so we can take over 3k dmg in 1 hit in pvp due to the 2.5 times dmg penalty.
3 The rifle crawl speed skill still does not work, this needs to be fixed.
4 Of course as I said on the last top 6 the ham costs are still to high.

I agree. And if there going to keep the LLC and Commando weapons are they are, then the T21 must be brought back to pre-nerf status. Other than that, I don't have any "pressing" issues.

Uhh... Really everything else seems to be covered in previous reports..
On a non rifle-specific note, I do seem to see a lot of concern about "Forced Grouping". I'm sure we aren't the only ones troubled by this, maybe a quick note about that could be included.
1) Bounty Hunter/Commando issue. T-21's were nerfed to eliminate one shot kills, yet they give 2 classes the ability to do it now.
2) Mobs teleporting to you when kiting or hitting from max range.
3) To his modifier when moving was way overdone.
4) Pistols and rifles should not be as accurate as each other from max range.
5) Rifle Crawl speed = useless.
6) 2.5x damage modifier is pathetic. Either fix that or fix the teleporting mobs.
7) Supression is NOT a knockdown and should not be treated as so.

The reason they put it on a tiemr was to prevent solo XP. Spamming suppression fire, stops a mob in its tracks, also when you do that, for a small amount of time they cannot shoot. It also prevent melee in PvP from charging you, and it gives you a serious advantage.
If they only nerfed KD, it would only be a matter of time before they nerfed Suppression Fire the same way.
Also, once again. 2.5x damage has already been reported on.
1. 2.5x modifier needs to me reduced dramatically or removed.
2. Mob warping on top (seen it talked about alot)
3. I think rifle damage across the board should be upped.
4. Crawl speed needs to be fixed or increased. I mistakenly thought it was working, but I then realized a guildmate of mine, who's a Master Squad Leader, had some group ability that increased it. Out of group it's still slow as dirt.
5. If damage across the board on all rifles isn't or can't be increased, then the max and ideal range of rifles needs to be double. Rifleman shouldn't have to kite mobs. Rifleman shouldn't need to be master to be effective. I get owned by NPCs, and PCs, because who the heck stands at 64m and lets me plug away at them?
6. Make some our specials take another HAM type. Not just mind..
7. Fix conceal shot so that it actually conceals or at least you get a message if it doesn't. If a shot is concealed it should be concealed to all, not just the target. Also a rifleman shouldn't have to just pick non-BAF critters if he wants to solo. I've seen another guildmate pistoleer fire into a croud of 5 BAF'ing mobs only to see one come, 2 at the most, which he easily obliterates. If that were me, I'd simply be running.
8. What's up with folks saying a rifleman needs to get a T-21 and Master to be effective? If that's really true, then what's the point of having any skills between novice and Master? Should just gain a couple hundred thousand (or however much it takes, too tired to do the math) and go straight from novice to Master. If this profession is based around the most sophisticated weapon for rifleman in game, and the highest rank in the profession, something is clearly wrong.
9. Is Armor piercing really working? I swear I attack animals with Med armor piercing or light, with my laser rifle, even though the creature is weak against energy, and pistol users with pistols that have no AP are still out damaging me when their weapons have 40% and more resistance. It's really weird.
10. Spraystick uses chemical dispersion mechs. Yet it is an energy based weapon. Is this intended? (As a weaponsmith this had me wondering too). Also with the tusken, it takes no power handlers, sounds like a RL rifle, yet it is also energy based..and not kinetic. Is this also intended?
1. Return the damage on the T-21 to its original level. The reasons stated for the change are silly based on what they have done with heavy weapons.
2. Change the melee modifier. There is no way we can kill a commando before they oneshot us. See #1 above. Reduce it to 1.5. Changeing the modifer to be position based is a better idea. Or alternatively, give people armed with heavy weapons a 2.5 modifier against ranged weapons. (they are vulnerable to us)
3. Increase or range to 70m. If turrets can do it, it is technically feasable, and their previous response is contradicted.
4. Address HAM cost in PvP. The 75% reduction means we hurt ourselves almost as bad as the target. Instead of reducing the HAM cost of the weapons, Reduce the multipliers for the specials in PVP. (a 50% reduction would still be more than PvE but would make us at least competitive.)
5. Fix our special attacks to work as listed. (surprise, flushing, conceal)
6. Fix teleporting mobs.
I realize many of these were in the last report. But they have changed the game significantly since their responses. In fact, many of those responses are now completely incorrect. These items NEED to be addressed again. If we do not bring it up, it will never change, and our profession will be a waste of time.

I actually like the 2.5x melee damage when equipping rifle thats what the d18 pistol is for
