Thread: Close quarters combat
I'm not a Rifleman, but I am possibly headed in that direction.
I'm sure most everyone here thinks that the melee damage multiplier sucks fat wang.
Has a Rifle Butt manuover ever been suggested? Anyone with any amount ofspecialized rifle training knows that the rifle itself makes a pretty handy weapon/parry in a pinch.
- Mind targeting melee attack using the butt of the rifle.
- Removes the melee vs rifle damage multiplier till the end of the next combat round.
- Does a large amount of damage to the rifles condition.
If this has come up before, excuse me. I spend the majority of my time on the Rangers forum, figured I'd pop over and share an idea.
I do have a question though...
If you only had enough skill points to dabble, what skill branch would you focus on if you mainly engage in PvE?
Yesa rifle melee attackhas been suggested before, a few times in fact. ![]()
As for using rifle to dabble in, unless your heart is set on rifleman I'd go somewhere else. Rifleman is very poor compared to pistol until we hit master (not sure about carbine, they seem a bit buggy to me).
I'm not sure which tree I'd pick to dabble in anymore, I've been master a while so I don't know how often people miss before master with the recent changes. Before the accuracy nerf I would have said 1/1/3/4 would have beena goodchoice if you have enough points.
Thanks Seflyn
So the rifle Special Attacks line is a good choice? The specials usefull or is it for the melee defense?
Also, how does the T21 hold up over a Laser Rifle?
I hear good and bad testimonials, but no one has been willing to give me a reason so far.
